Apt Resources is a leading recruitment company seeking a Group Business Development Manager specializing in building materials and related products like industrial power tools. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, while maintaining and nurturing existing relationships. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales and business development.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the building materials and related products sector
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
• Lead sales presentations and negotiations with potential clients
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies and marketing campaigns
• Conduct market research and analyze business trends to identify opportunities for growth
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the building materials industry and related products
• Prepare and present regular sales reports to the senior management team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and business development in the building materials industry and related industries
• Must have experience in Marketing and PR related experience
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding business relationships
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
