Role Overview

Techno Control Corporation is seeking a Part-Time Business Development Professional to expand market presence in Qatar by creating demand, opening doors, developing strategic relationships, and identifying long-term opportunities across industrial and infrastructure sectors.

This role focuses on market penetration, partnerships, and opportunity creation, not routine transactional sales.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development & Opportunity Creation

Identify and develop new business opportunities in:

Industrial manufacturing plants

EPC contractors & system integrators

Utilities, power, water & energy projects

Map key decision-makers (Engineering, Projects, Maintenance, Procurement)

Create entry points into new accounts and upcoming projects

Strategic Relationship Building

Establish long-term relationships with:

Plant managers

Project directors

Engineering consultants

Procurement leadership

Represent Techno Control in client meetings, technical discussions, and industry interactions

Project & Pipeline Development

Identify upcoming:

New plants

Expansions & revamps

Shutdowns & turnarounds

EPC tenders and project pipelines

Support vendor registration and prequalification processes

Coordinate internally to convert opportunities into RFQs

Market Intelligence & Positioning

Provide insights on:

Competitor positioning

Approved vendor lists

Pricing benchmarks

Client procurement behavior

Support go-to-market strategy for Qatar

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in:

Electrical Engineering

Electronics / Instrumentation

Mechanical Engineering (industrial exposure)

3–7 years experience in business development, project sales, or industrial market expansion

Strong understanding of Qatar industrial & EPC landscape

Proven ability to open accounts and build relationships

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Profile

Experience with EPCs, utilities, oil & gas, or large manufacturing plants

Existing relationships with consultants, EPCs, or plant engineering teams

Familiarity with industrial electrical, automation, or maintenance solutions

Currently working professional, consultant, or independent BD advisor

Valid Qatar ID (preferred)
