Job Description
Provide development and coding capability for the Development and Support Team delivering quality solutions to customers.
Ability to prioritize work and help the team assess impacts to timelines.
Ensure adherence to engineering processes such as code reviews, source control, unit testing, use case analysis, defect management as well as execution of implementation activities.
Analysis and identification of technical areas of improvement within existing applications
Job Specification
Experience of Middleware and messaging technology, WebSphere Message Broker & MQ development
Strong proficiency in the Java / J2EE APIs, particularly Java-based application servers (IBM Web Sphere) with EJBs, servlets, and JSP.
WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX) Experience. Financial Package experience is preferred.
WebSphere Service Repository and Registry (WSRR) experience.
Banking experience is required.
IBM & Java Certification is also a big plus.
Work in a team environment, as well as independently.
Self-motivated and able to complete work with little supervision, and bring a high level of credibility when leading technical conversations.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
