Job Description
The position of 3G-FLM Engineer involves:
- Accurately identify and isolate faults within the shortest possible time, thereby minimizing any downtime of network elements without exceeding the agreed SLA.
- Follow established processes to ensure rapid turn around of faults and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with the OMC and Corrective Maintenance of NodeBs.
- Complete visual inspection of the equipment and connections
- Regular examination of the optical and audible alarm system, control of alarm panels
- Replacement of malfunctioning sub-assemblies
- Cleaning of filters, fans
- Power maintenance and adjustment of power supplies
- Checking and replacement of consumable items in the devices, if required
- Periodic or on-demand tests and measurements
- Synthesis of periodic inspections via reports in the agreed upon format
