You will be working as Senior Field Service Engineer and will be a part of Electrification Business Area for Electrification Global Markets based in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be reporting to Field Service Manager and you will be executing medium to high complex service work according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. You will also be delivering excellent customer service to satisfy customers, co-operating closely with customer and other ABB teams, taking actions to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB.
Your responsibilities
Service Delivery: Performing medium to high complex service tasks like installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgradations and retrofits, repair independently, identifying technical problems and making analysis through remote or on- site activity in different service categories (installation and commissioning, maintenance, extensions, replacements, upgradations and retrofit, end of life service etc.).
Customer Approach: Ensuring customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation. Creating and maintaining a good relationship with customers and understanding their needs. Identifying new sales opportunities influencing and convincing the client for the complete service portfolio.
Materials and Supply: Coordinating, preparing and ensuring that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for service activities. Preparing standard lists for ease of work.
Documentation and Reports: Preparing all documentation and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Preparing reports in a timely manner and following up when needed.
Troubleshooting: Identifying potential equipment failures and proactively taking corrective actions. Troubleshooting complex equipment failure and making recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.
Operational Excellence: Identifying suggestions for product, quality and customer service improvement and discussing them with management for changes. Applying functional processes considering links to other teams.

Job Specification
Your background
A bachelor’s in degree or Electrical Engineering.
Required Minimum 5- 7 years of exp in service of electric products 415(LV) (11KV,33KV)
Knowledge and certification on ABB products.
Required experience in LV and MV, Switchgears and full product range.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
