As a Parts Manager your main objective is to develop and implement an effective business strategy to improve Parts sales and profitability in line with the company objectives by identifying new business opportunities both locally and internationally and to improve the service standards and processes all over Qatar through implementation of the best business practice so as to improve the customer experience
Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting : Prepare, monitor and control the annual departmental budget taking into account the Units in Operation, future units sale forecast and past performance to ensure the net sales and profits are in line with company objectives.
Principal Agreement: To prepare and obtain agreement from manufacturer(Principal’s) annual business plans and develop strategies to achieve them
Inventory Control :To maximize the return on Inventory by keeping optimum stocks without affecting availability
Profitability :Establish pricing policy so as to be competitive in the market and achieve business plan targets
Employee Engagement: To develop a manpower plan to achieve the financial objectives and implement it by recruiting and developing staff by monitoring and reviewing individual performances.
Systems & Procedures: To ensure the inventory management tool (Syncron) and ERP (SAP) system is continuously developed and fine-tuned to meet the changing business needs. To make sure all company policies and procedures are followed by all staff
Financial Arrangements : To ensure enough advance fund is available with the principle supplier for urgently required spare parts.
Standards: To develop and maintain all facilities as per Manufacturer’s CI standards.
Customer Satisfaction: To provide best customer service by matching availability to demand and train the staff to give our customers the best retail experience.
To apply for this role you must meet below criteria:
Educational Background: Mechanical / Automotive Engineer
Minimum Experience: 10- 15 years overall experience with Automotive dealerships –out of which a minimum of 5 to 8 years in Parts department at assistant managerial level.
Job- Specific Skills: Automotive dealer/distributor business processes and working knowledge of Inventory Management, Logistics and supply chain Management, ERP SAP skills; KPI driven customer focused operation; ability to lead change processes; provide leadership; MS Office skills.
Behavioral Competencies: To maintain confidentiality; be strategic and analytical, honest and responsible; possess cultural awareness and sensitivity; be flexible and demonstrate sound work ethics.
