We are seeking to recruit on behalf of our client a SENIOR MECHANICAL STATIC ENGINEER to work in our client’s ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT based in Qatar on a long term residential contract married or single status
Experience / Qualifications Required
10 years relevant post graduate experience with Static Equipment discipline design engineering experience, of which 6 years in Oil amp; Gas industry, with an international consulting company, EPIC contractor or Operating Company
Possess sound technical knowledge in Static Equipment discipline area and the required interfaces
Familiar with Shell DEPs and other international design codes and standards such as ASME Sec VIII Div.1/2, API 650, TEMA, APPI 660, API 661 etc
Familiar with all types of FEED and EPIC deliverables, equipment, design and construction progress reviews
Static equipment design/engineering skills for Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors, Storage Tanks etc
Experienced in onshore/offshore Oil and Gas industry
Experienced in Process and Utility packages like Gas Dehydration, N2 generation, Fired Heaters, Water Bath Heaters Proficiency in applicable engineering software such as PVElite/Compress
Experienced in the implementation of industry best practices and Company's systems, processes, and standards
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluent written and spoken English
Bachelor degree in discipline engineering or equivalent
Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is preferable
