Engineering Manager

Our Client a luxurious 5 star deluxe hotel is looking to hire an experienced Engineering Manager.

Scope of Position

• To take responsibility and to delegate to colleagues in order to perform the functions of the engineering department.
• To enforce all engineering policies and procedures.
• To ensure that all facilities within the hotel premises are safe.

• Departmental:

• To be responsible for the proper maintenance of the physical plant, engineering facilities, all electrical and mechanical equipment, kitchen equipment, controls, fire safety systems, the interior and exterior of the entire hotel and other items pertaining to the operation of the hotel.
• To manage the engineering staff by promoting teamwork, efficiency, quality, productivity and cost sensitiveness.

Requirements

• A formal qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering Hands-on experience in all operational areas of departmental administration.
• Middle East 5 star luxury hotel experience is preferable
