Assistant Company Secretary, Guernsey
Our client specializes in offering life-insurance-based wealth management and employee benefit solutions to a global audience seeking to recruit an Assistant Company Secretary. This role is also open for candidates who are willing to relocate to Guernsey.
Key responsibilities will include;
• Carry out the administration of all matters relating to corporate governance such as assisting with the preparations for Board Meetings and Board Committee meetings.
• The maintenance of all statutory books and the filing of all appropriate company secretarial and corporate returns for the Companies in all relevant jurisdictions.
• To oversee and assist with secretarial services provided to Management Committees.
• Ensure the timely payment of corporate fees and the submission and filing of all regulatory and corporate returns as applicable to the Companies (except where otherwise delegated by the Boards).
• Ensure that all mandatory and best practice corporate governance standards are maintained across the Companies.
• Maintain oversight and act as custodian of corporate policies, procedures and guidelines etc., ensuring formal adoption and timely reviews are carried out by the Boards.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
• High-level technical and professional record of accomplishment held in a corporate administration environment and educated to Degree level or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Guernsey’s legislative and regulatory requirements (or another equivalent jurisdiction).
• Previous successful boardroom and regulator/s experience.
