The College of Education and Arts of Lusail University in Doha Qatar. Lusail University is a newly established national/private university.It is seeking to expand its program widely and internationally. The university invites applications for an Assistant Professor in the Counselling and Mental Health program.
The program expects to conduct a search for the position immediately. The successful candidate will be prepared to teach various courses at introductory as well as upper-level courses. The position is for an Assistant Professor, ABDs will be hired as lecturer rank with higher teaching loads. The semester begins August 2023 and the teaching load for an Assistant Professor is four courses per semester. Applicants should have their Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology/Mental Health Counseling/Mental Health/Clinical Psychology/Marriage and Family Therapy/Rehabilitation Counseling/School Counseling/Substance Abuse Counseling or closely affiliated field by August 2023, but ABD candidates may be considered. The teaching is in formal and standard Arabicand the candidate must be fluent in both English and Arabic. The terminal degree (PhD) must be from a UK / Canadian/ Australian/ US/ EU/ New Zealand Universities.
